I am the Parmigiana Whisperer.
I am from the South of Italy and I have been living in the UK for the last 4 years.
I decided to write this blog because since I moved here, the first thing people ask me when they find out I am Italian is to share with them some proper recipes.
I am glad to get these questions, in these years I have seen too many Italian recipes murderered with random ingredients and cooking nonsense (sorry guys but some of them are really outrageous).
So here I am, sharing with you some authentic old fashioned Italian recipes!
Before we start with the good stuff, let me clarify some points:
– I am not a nutritionist, so I won’t describe any recipes as “healthy”, “hearty”, “energetic”. I only share what I like and what I think might be interesting
– I am not a chef or a cook, so there might be a lot of nonsense and the dishes might look a bit messy, soz
-I am not a photographer, so pictures will likely look like s**t, there is nothing I can do about it
Now enjoy the recipes, I hope after reading some of them you will never again even dream of putting cream in carbonara!
